Surface Designer and Illustrator. Jacquelyn grew up on the beaches of Jupiter, Florida with salty hair, sandy toes, brightly colored swimsuits and warm weather year round. After graduating from FSU with a degree in Business Management, she took a job with Hyatt Hotels. Her experiences as a hotelier were positive but after some time, she realized she was driven by the creative and entrepreneurial spirit that had been passed onto her by her parents. Returning to the sunshine state, Jacquelyn pursued a variety of positions in the art and design field. These positions re-ignited a passion for design and creation that had been buried and forgotten. They also provided insight into where her ultimate career destination might be. Jacquelyn search for the perfect fit has led her to surface pattern design. She enjoys continually learning and exploring new avenues of design and new ways to incorporate design into her work and her life and manages to find time to practice hand lettering, watercolor, furniture design and interior decorating. Expressing herself through patterns, and sharing that self-expression with others brings Jacquelyn great joy. It is her dream to see her designs on swimsuits and a variety of similar products.
